As I get older , I truly realize the value of good friends more and more each day. I often think of the line that profoundly states “we choose our friends, not our family”. Don’t get me wrong, I love my family and am very fortunate (even blessed) to have a wonderful couple of sisters an incredible husband and fabulous children. I would, if given a choice, choose them as friends. And I acutally mean that. I have a special place in my heart for friends. I don’t know how or when it happened, but, somehow, wisdom seems to be setting in. No matter what happens i life, I will always love my friends as much as my family. There is nothing that would come in between us, nothing else is as valuable as their presence.
So, to all my beloved friends and family, I send all my love out to you.
I guess age also begets “mushiness”.
So it goes…
Hey Cyndi,
You are much loved by your friends, there is no doubt, but i do wonder if maybe your hormones are a bit labile lately….
You are probably right! I guess it’s better than the hormones causing the opposite behaviour! We all have heard stories like what I am referring to!
Well if age begets mushiness, I’m right there with you. When thoughts come from the heart there is an honesty and beauty beyond compare. You’ve compelled me to continue my day with grace and contentness. I too am blessed.
